Who is responsible
Pearlmoth Lacquer Co., Studio 4, 2118 SE Division Street, Portland, OR 97202, United States, is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Order data. Name, delivery address, email address, order contents and batch codes shipped.
- Contact data. Anything you type into the contact form, including the batch code field.
- Technical data. Server logs containing IP address, user agent and requested page.
What we do not collect
We do not hold card numbers. Payment is processed by our payment provider and the studio receives only a confirmation reference. We do not run advertising pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
Why we hold it
Order data is held to fulfil the contract of sale and to answer questions about a batch years after it shipped, which is a genuine and frequent need in this trade. Contact data is held to answer the message. Server logs are kept for security and troubleshooting.

Who else sees it
Our payment provider, our shipping carrier and the company that hosts this site. None of them are permitted to use the data for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.
Cookies
This site sets one cookie, which keeps the contents of a basket between pages. It expires when the browser session ends. There are no analytics or advertising cookies to opt out of.
